Constantino Vetere was born in 1985, and from a very early age has performed on many stages all over Italy. He was finalist in the singing competition, “Zecchino d’Oro” for the Lazio region in 1990‐92 and has taken part in numerous competitions always finishing among the top positions. He won first prize in “La Voce del Lago” festival, “Verdinote” (92), “Bimbo Festival” and “ La Scarpetta d’Oro” in 1994, “Cantarho bimbo” (95), “Canzone d’Autore” (97), “Ugolino d’Oro” (98).

He has made numerous television appearances, the most important of which were an appearance on Rai Uno for “Sanremo dei Piccoli” which featured in the tv show “Domenica In” presented by Toto Cutugno in 1993, the festival “ Giovanissima” recorded at Casino di Sanremo in 1993 and above all Festival Disney a show presented by Fabrizio Frizzi shown on prime time television over three evenings from the Videopolis theatre in Disneyland Paris, where he won first prize in 1995.

He attended piano lessons at the age of four under the tutelage of Maestro Maurizio Sebastianelli and singing lessons with Meastro Silvano Polidori. At the age of thirteen, he developed his vocal technique under the instruction of the singer Anna Maria Di Marco. In addition to this, Constantino took his first forays into jazz music, studying piano with Andrea Beneventano at the University of Music in Rome.

Since 2000, he began performing regularly in concerts in and round Rome with various rock groups namely TEMPLARI, WOODSTOCK, etc.. and in 2006 he established the EIGHT SHARP JAZZ QUARTET. An important stage in his artistic journey has been with the progressive group ADAM, together with whom he began writing an album in 2011.

In 2013, he enrolled on the three year course in pop music at the Frosinone Conservatory.

Since 2010, he has been passionately involved in teaching pop music, rock and jazz. Although his first song writing experiences was at the age of fourteen, it was not until 2012 that he had the idea to write ten tracks for an album entitled IN BILICO, which was released on 28th April 2015 under the record label “Riserva Sonora Records”. The album was well received by critics and the record buying public. It entered the “Radio Airplay Chart” Top 50, which charts the most played independent musicians on the radio in Italy.  In the “Absolute Beginners” chart of Rockol Italia, which is exclusively for newcomers, he achieved number one in the chart. The album was among the top 100 most downloaded albums on Itunes, dedicated to singer songwriters. The record also topped the “ Ora Musica” chart with the single “Ottocento” which was voted the independent song of the summer.

Following the preview at MEI in Rome and the presentation at the International Music Festival of Genoa, he appeared as guest of honour at MEI in Faenza.  As well as having attracted the attention of various national radio stations, the album IN BILICO boasts the honour of having been reviewed in the music magazine “AVVENIRE”.
