INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL "DISCOVERY'2002",

· The XI th International
Music Festival "Discovery 2002" is taking place in Varna, Bulgaria in
Apri 18 - 20 . 2002.
· Each participant has to perform 2 songs (no longer than 4 min. each)
of his/her/ own choice with "live" vocal with a half playback on CD.
· Songs may be presented in any language. One of the song must be with
orrigonal music /dance & pop/ and lyrics (it has to be available both
half playback and full playback as well). The performers have to possess
the copy right of their orriginal song /dance & pop/. It will be produced
on a CD which will be sold for benefit and worldwide promotional purposes.
· Discovery Award: 5000 DM

Entry:
1. Application & Declaration Form
2. Biography of the singer, photografs and promotion materials.
3. CD or DAT cassette with the original song - full playback
4.The participant have to send a short video(SVHS) about their country
for promotional purpose during the festival.
Entry deadline: 20. 02. 2002
There are 2 contests in The Discovery '02:
1)for song;
2) for singer.
· Jury:
The competition will be judged by two International Juries selected by
the Organising Committee.
· Expences: The XI th International Music Festival Discovery 2002 takes
on its account the accomodation, meals and internal transport during the
festival days in Varna for the participant and for one accompaning person.
All additional guests who would like to visit the festival will pay for
theire services special preferential prices. Please, inform us about the
number of the guests in advance.
· Promotion: The sponsors of your travel to Varna, if such, will be announced
in the additional publications.
· Organizer's rights:
1. The exclusive right to broadcast and to permit others to broadcast
the festival.
2. The exclusive right to produce and distribute all tipes of contest
audio and video materials (records, CD's, cassettes, documentary, films
and video tapes) of the festival.
3. The right to use and permit others to use any of the promotional materials
submitted by the applicant.
4. The International Music Festival Discovery 2002 will not pay the artistic
fee for the performance.
5. Entry fee for original song.
